Fellow alumni, future alumni, prospective alumni, allies, friends and visitors:

Welcome to the National Intelligence University (NIU) Alumni Association (NIUAA), a program which the NIU Foundation (NIUF) established in 2015.

The NIU Alumni Association serves a diverse professional alumni base reflecting a 60-year legacy within the communities of the U.S. national security apparatus.

The NIUAA has matured into a national organization (with affiliated networks in various regions) which endeavors to support alumni pursuing their respective post-academic lives and careers. The NIUAA can help you stay connected with colleagues and to NIU resources, from the faculty that taught and guided you, to insightful seminars and symposia, web sites, social media and a variety of “stay connected” programs designed with you in mind.

Since inception, the NIUAA has been a free and inclusive organization. At the same time, I challenge you to give back to our alma mater, the center of academic life of the U.S. Intelligence Community, to whatever degree you deem appropriate. There are many ways to give back, from career mentoring within your home agencies, serving on thesis committees, to participating in academic and social events. Take a look at the opportunities listed below and consider how you can be more involved this year based on your passions and availability—or let us know how we can tailor an opportunity just for you.

The Alumni Association will provide a mechanism to channel the positive energy, goodwill, and resources of our alumni, with a mission to develop a passionate, sustainable, and effective community of alumni in support of the university and each other.

James-Christian Blockwood, Class of 2007 Inaugural Alumni President
